Sabrina Meherally
Sabrina Meherally is a product inclusion thought leader, and the Founder of Designing for Inclusion.
While deeply invested in systemic change, she believes that it is the sum of little actions which create revolutions.
Sabrina is the daughter of refugee and immigrant parents from Uganda and Pakistan, living on stolen Coast Salish territories of the hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓ (Hul’q’umi’num’) and Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish) speaking people.
Her personal experience with being excluded for “being different” started at a young age and has fuelled her passion for creating a world where all people feel seen, reflected and respected. Sabrina founded Designing for Inclusion to help organizations re-imagine their customer experiences through a process that honors, respects, and elevates lived experience and expertise of the community. Her experience as a Product Manager, UX designer, HR Business Partner and Business Strategist provides her with a unique and holistic understanding of the ways that diversity and inclusion intersect with every function of an organization. Through the Inclusive Design Podcast, she explores ways in which responsible innovation is creating a better world for everyone.
