Rola Mustafa

Rola Mustafa is an accomplished mediator, facilitator, and humanitarian leader dedicated to fostering harmonious communities and driving systemic change. Currently an instructor in mediation at Herzing College, Canada, and a Global Trainer in Conciliation and Mediation, Rola leverages her expertise to promote communication, cooperation, and conflict resolution.

A trained lawyer with an LLM in International Commercial Law from City University of London, Rola is also an accredited mediator by the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution. She holds a Global MBA from IE Business School, further equipping her to lead strategic initiatives across diverse sectors.

Before relocating to Canada in 2015, Rola made a profound impact in her native Syria by managing a Humanitarian Assistance Program during the civil war. Her leadership brought hope and security to over 35,000 displaced and local individuals, ensuring access to essential services with dignity and respect.

In Canada, Rola has played an instrumental role in supporting refugee resettlement and fostering inclusive communities. As the Building Roots Manager at the Islamic Family and Social Services Association, she developed programs to help newcomers integrate and succeed. She also managed the Diversity and Inclusion Portfolio for Ismaili councils across Canada. Currently, at The Inclusion Project, Rola conducts community impact assessments to advance equity and inclusion.
